Cheerleading Registration Requirements

Children must be going into kindergarten through 8th grade for NEXT school year which begins in September to be eligible to participate.

I Team: grades K, 1 and 2
C Team: grades 3 & 4
B Team: grades 5 & 6
A Team: grades 7 & 8

*Cheer team placement per ACCJFL is based on the grade level the participant will be going INTO for the upcoming season.

**4 year olds may be eligible to participate as a mascot, by contacting the cheer coordinator for more information.

Cheerleading Coaches

We’re currently accepting volunteer registrations to help out in various roles with the cheerleaders. Whether you’re interested in coaching, assisting, becoming a team parent for any level of the cheerleading teams, or volunteering in any other way, we’d love to have you on board! To get started, please fill out our Volunteer Registration Form and visit our volunteer page to learn more about the different ways you can get involved. For specific questions, please contact our cheer coordinator. Thank you for your interest in helping with our youth cheerleading program.

Volunteer Cheerleading Positions

Please note: All Cheerleading Head Coaches and Assistant Coaches must be at least 18 years old, whereas Junior Coaches must be at least 16 years old.

RJV adheres to all Federal, State and League (ACCJFL) Guidelines pertaining to children’s organizations and establishing safety and protection of all children within our organization.
