Who can volunteer?
Volunteering to become a support member of the Riverside Junior Vikings Family is open to everyone, regardless of their relationship to the team. Whether you are a parent, grandparent, aunt, uncle, older sibling, caretaker, neighbor, RJV graduate, or any community member, you can apply to join us.
Why should I get involved with the football or cheerleading team?
Being involved in your child’s sports team is an excellent way to positively impact their growth and development. As a coach, you have the opportunity to shape your child’s athletic abilities and provide valuable guidance that can assist them both on and off the field. Meanwhile, as a team parent, you can provide unwavering support and resources to ensure that the team runs seamlessly and the players have everything they need to excel.
Getting involved in your child’s sports team is not only a chance to help them achieve their full potential, but it also creates a fun and nurturing environment where they can form meaningful friendships and thoroughly enjoy the sport. Additionally, you’ll get to bond with your child and witness their progress as they gain new skills and confidence.
